The restaurant here is top-notch for Asian cuisine, and we enjoyed some really delicious dishes. The room had all the necessary amenities like a multi-channel TV, a microwave, and a fridge. The bathroom was spotless, which was great. Plus, its awesome, central location made it even better! 🌟

Everything was simply great. Enjoyed my very relaxing stay for one night. The location was central, right by a national park and the restaurant below. I booked a double room with a refrigerator, a microwave, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The beds were really nice, like a cloud.

Well priced and cool hotel, everything was amazing, I felt safe. The staff was extremely helpful and the owner too. I got an a nice size room with a proper bar and A/C, as for instance. The location close to everything was comfy. A cool bonus was nearby Park Cafe, that offered tea and coffee. The venue was what I loved during the trip.

We only spent two nights at the hostel. We booked a day trip to Arenal & Tobacon so we had very little time at the hostel or in the city. We did eat at the Hibachi restaurant which was delicious and owned by the same guy who owns the hostel. Its not cheap food but was great tasting. The room was adequate for us and quite spacious compared to our hostel in Manuel Antonio. No complaints. The breakfast was excellent. Each morning they provided coffee, juice, yogurt, eggs, rice, vegetables.

I ate at an elegant restaurant for dinner. I loved sleeping on a very big bed. The location of the hotel was convenient - relatively close to a large park. The staff were CARING, attentive and helped me with free parking.

Hotel Columbus is a great budget hotel located in a safe area of San Jose. The rooms are unique and perfect, equipped with private bathrooms, a microwave, and a refrigerator. The breakfast includes sandwiches and delicious fried bananas to cater to every taste. It's a fine base for exploring San Jose.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this reasonably clean budget hotel. The room was spotless and well-equipped, with very good beds, and I slept very well. The super-friendly staff gave great advice on things to do. Its location relatively close to a 72-hectare park was good.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the air conditioning worked well, hot showers, nice mountain view, convenient location next to a small shop.

The staff at this hotel were exceptional, from the owner down to the kitchen porter. They were genuine and not pushy, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a wide variety of options including fruit, rice with beans, fried plantains, yogurt drinks. The location of the hotel was also great, situated opposite a lovely park and offering easy access to public transportation into town. We enjoyed having breakfast while watching people in the park, and it was also convenient to have a good bus service and affordable taxi rides.

That our room was on the ground floor and looked out onto a car park, so we had to keep the curtains and windows closed. there were limited options for restaurants and shops within walking distance, and the check-in had to be done by 10pm.
